"We found the will for Anthony McCracken which you know about. This iswhere
he names his daughter, Mary, the wife of Alexander Adams. And then she
married Joseph Hamilton after Alexander Sr. died. We only a fewmonths ago
received information from John H. Johnson, a descendant of JohnPatton and
Mary Mccracken. This is the kicker. Margaret McCracke was thedaughter of
John Mary McCracken Patton. John died. Mary then married AlexanderAdams
Sr. Then she married Joseph Hamilton. Therefore Margaret McCracken,who
married John McCracken (Junior or the II) was Margaret Patton Adams
Hamilton."
