3. Henry³ Burum (Simon² Van Boerum, Henry¹) was born in July 8, 1757. Henry died August 22, 1823 in Hawkins Co., Tenn, at age 66.

He married twice. He married Sarah Leaf Trim 1785 in Lancaster Co., Penn.. Sarah was born date unknown. Sarah died 1787 in Sea, at age unknown. He married Mary Miller February 15, 1788 in Fincastle, Botetort Co., VA. Mary was born May 9, 1767 in Lancaster Co., Penn.. Mary was the daughter of Peter Miller and Silbil Pitzer. Mary died June 10, 1813 in Hawkins Co., Tenn., at age 46.

Henry Burum and Mary Miller had the following children:

4 i. Dorcas⁴ Burum was born in Now-Tennessee, North Carolina 1779. Dorcas died October 13, 1857 in Osage, Arkansas, at age 78. Her body was interred date unknown in Osage, Arkansas. She married Col Eskridge 'C.E.' Kenner 1800. Eskridge was born 1779 in Now-Tennessee, North Carolina. Eskridge was the son of Francis Kenner and Elizabeth Howard. Eskridge died September 10, 1858 in Osage, Arkansas, at age 79. (See Col Eskridge 'C.E.' Kenner for the continuation of this line.)

5 ii. Margaret Hastings was born in North Carolina 1808. Margaret died 1874 in Henry Co., Tennessee, at age 66. She married Lewis Davis September 13, 1825. Lewis was born 1804 in North Carolina. Lewis died 1864 in Henry Co., Tennessee, at age 60.
