He married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Lee 1670 in Dividing Creek, Nrthmbld. Co. Va. Elizabeth was born 1653 in Paradise Plan., Gloucester Co.Va. Elizabeth was the daughter of Col. Richard Lee and Anne Constable. Elizabeth died 1690 in Wicomico Par., Nrthmbld. Co. Va, at age 37.

Leonard Howson and Elizabeth 'Betsy' Lee had the following children:

3 ii. Willaim Howson was born in Wicomico Par., Nrthmbld. Co.Va. 1672. Willaim died 1702 at age 30. He married Sarah ( )mottrom 1700. Sarah was born date unknown.

4 iii. Leonard Howson jr was born in Wicomico Par., Nrthmbld. Co. Va 1673. He married Mary Jane (claiborne) Brereton date unknown. Mary was born date unknown.

5 iv. Hannah Howson was born in Wicomico Par., Nrthmbld.Co. Va. 1677. Hannah died 1713 in St.Steph.'sPar, Nrthmbld.Co. Va., at age 36. She married Francis Kenner 1706 in St.Steph. Par., Nrthmbld.Co. Va.. Francis was born December 18, 1681 in St.Steph.'Par., Nrthmbld.Co. Va.. Francis was the son of Richard Kenner jr and Elizabeth Rodham. Francis died 1728 in Nrthmbld.Co. Va., at age 46. 6 v. John Howson was born in Wicomico Par., Nrthmbld. Co.Va. 1679. John died 1714 in Nrthmbld. Co.Va., at age 35. He married Elizabeth Kenner date unknown. Elizabeth was born March 17, 1682/1683 in St.Steph. Par., Nrthmbld.Co. Va.. Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard Kenner jr and Elizabeth Rodham. Elizabeth died 1715 in Nrthmbld.Co. Va., at age 33.
