2. James Richard 'Dick'² Ramsey (George David¹) was born in Lynn Co., Mo. December 1, 1846. James died December 21, 1927 in near Brookfield, Mo., at age 81.

He married Nancy Elizabeth Bryan September 26, 1867. Nancy was born July 3, 1846 in Lynn Co., Mo.. Nancy was the daughter of Captain Barton Bryan and Mary Crose. Nancy died December 25, 1930 in Lynn Co., Mo., at age 84.

James Richard 'Dick' Ramsey and Nancy Elizabeth Bryan had the following children:

3 i. George Richard³ Ramsey was born July 10, 1868. George died September 22, 1877 at age 9.

4 ii. Franklin 'Frank' Alby Ramsey was born in St.Catherine, Nrthmbld. Co Va. August 30, 1870. Franklin died 1933 at age 62. He married Mary Elizabeth McCollum April 14, 1892. Mary was born January 31, 1873 in Salem. Mary died August 29, 1926 in St.Catherine, Nrthmbld. Co Va., at age 53.

+ 5 iii. Fredrick 'Fred' Edwin Ramsey was born November 14, 1872.

6 iv. Laura B. Ramsey was born August 15, 1875. Laura died September 1, 1877 at age 2.

7 v. Cynthia Ellen Ramsey was born December 11, 1877. Cynthia died November 4, 1942 in Lincoln, Tex., at age 64. She married Guy Alaric Ridgway September 20, 1899. Guy was born September 21, 1875. Guy died August 24, 1913 at age 37.

8 vi. Charles Edward Ramsey was born December 2, 1880. Charles died July 29, 1919 in Houston, Harris Co., Tex., at age 38. He married Rose Gibson March 25, 1903 in Crosby, Harris Co., Tex.. Rose was born February 24, 1888 in Crosby, Harris Co., Tex..

9 vii. Johnathan Craig Ramsey was born December 23, 1882.

10 viii. James Allen Ramsey was born July 6, 1885. James died July 18, 1971 at age 86. He married Myrtle Mae Austin October 18, 1907. Myrtle was born July 23, 1886 in Lynn Co., Mo.. Myrtle died April 9, 1974 in Bucklin, Box Elder Idaho, at age 87.
