These directions came from the book "History of the
Gateway to the Green Hills 1976"
As for Wyandotee, yes there once was a town by that name, from
about 1840 to 1862. There is still a Church there and the cemetery is at
the Church. The physical location is Bucklin Township, Linn County,
MO. Most of the cemetery is in the NE 1/4 Section 29, T-58, R-18.
Start at the intersection of US Highway 36 and MO state route "U"
North of Marceline. Go North on "U" about 4 miles to gravel road
going east. Go east about 1/2 mile and cemetery is on the north side of
the road surrounding Wyandotte Church.
The approximate location should be Latitude N3948.9, Longitude
W9256.0
